Our client in the Bern region offers comprehensive services in the areas of interior finishing, insulation and fire protection. The decentralized organization with dedicated teams enables direct and flexible customer support throughout Switzerland. As a result of succession planning, we are looking for an entrepreneurial, experienced manager with strong communication and social skills to expand our business activities in the Bern region.

Head of Construction Suppliers Region Bern (m/f/d)

Your tasks

  • Through good planning and skilful management, you will ensure optimum capacity utilization and expansion of the region in order to achieve long-term social and economic goals in line with company targets.
  • You will take responsibility for managing the department and leading project managers and installation personnel with over 30 employees.
  • You will build trust and create satisfaction by working in partnership with customers.
  • Together with the management, you will acquire new customers.
  • You carefully calculate quotations and skillfully maintain an overview of the execution of orders.
  • You negotiate orders confidently and always keep an eye on all cost aspects.
  • You manage processes holistically across the entire service area.
  • You ensure the smooth running of the operational business right through to the execution stage and compliance with occupational safety.
  • You actively maintain your network and continuously expand it through networking activities, such as participating in events or collaborating with project partners.

Your profile

  • You have developed your dynamic and strong sales personality over several years in responsible positions
  • Positions and have already successfully taken on project management tasks in construction.
  • You have specialist knowledge of building or construction technology and the relevant Swiss standards and have ideally completed training in plumbing, heating, cooling or insulation.
  • Independent and customer-oriented work is just as natural for you as fluent German.
