Innovative construction professional with initiative

Our client in central Switzerland is a long-established full-service provider (GC/TC) in the property sector. The successful family business offers a wide range of services from a single source: from consulting and planning to development, construction and marketing. Due to strong growth, we are looking for two committed and solution-orientated team players for a key role with dual responsibilities in structural engineering and overall construction.

Construction and project manager with client responsibilities 80 - 100 % (m/f)

Your tasks

  • You will lead the project teams professionally and manage challenging new build and remodelling projects through all phases of the construction process.
  • As the point of contact for architects, planners and authorities, you will manage the project organisation and ensure that deadlines, costs and quality requirements are met.
  • You will carry out partial and final acceptances and oversee the tendering and contract awarding process as well as factory acceptance tests and final inspections.
  • You will be responsible for reviewing and assessing tenders as well as contractual and construction-related changes.
  • You prepare the construction documentation, check the final invoices and monitor warranty work.

Your profile

  • You have completed your basic construction training (structural draughtsman/carpenter) with further training to become a qualified building construction manager or qualified building construction technician HF/TS. Alternatively, you are an architect (FH) with extensive experience in construction.
  • You are assertive and have proven experience and success in construction or project management in Swiss building construction (renovation/new construction).
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset, communicate openly and respectfully and have an excellent command of Swiss construction standards and occupational safety regulations.
  • You work in a structured, solution-orientated manner and with a keen awareness of quality and strict adherence to deadlines and costs.
  • Your established network in the construction industry in German-speaking Switzerland, very good IT skills (MS Office/Messerli) and fluent German round off your profile.
