His/her main areas of activity in project development include

• Supporting the Head of Project Development in the acquisition of building land and construction projects
• Preparing feasibility studies and carrying out all preliminary clarifications required for a further processing decision, such as site analyses, legal aspects and the preparation of yield and success forecasts
• Checking the legal feasibility of project studies and/or preliminary projects, preparing cost and yield estimates and carrying out risk assessments.
• Drawing up requirement programmes and specifications as well as active project management and leading planning and client meetings up to and including receipt of the building permit
• Handover of the approved project to project execution
• Coordination of architects, specialist planners, authorities, companies and third parties
• Coordinating, monitoring and controlling the project process and ensuring that the project objectives are met
• Planning and coordination with internal and external planners
• Various activities from the area of responsibility (minutes, correspondence, etc.)
• Enforcing compliance with deadlines, budget and quality
• Development and optimisation of planning and construction processes in the interests of the client

Profile

The new job holder (m,f,d) must be a personality with a strong willingness to perform and show great initiative and passion for their customers and tasks. They must have a holistic way of thinking and an understanding of overarching contexts and be open to working with different personalities. She is also characterised by a precise way of working, solution orientation with a strong awareness of quality, deadlines and costs. A customer-oriented behaviour and corresponding independence are a must.

Several years of experience in the project management of building construction projects and experience in project development are important. The person will also have a sound knowledge of general planning, implementation planning and, ideally, realisation. Several years of professional experience and networking in the construction scene in the field of architecture and general planning as well as proven market knowledge are crucial. The candidate must be a qualified architect/civil engineer FH/ETH and have a sound understanding of project management. Good computer skills and fluent German round off the profile. Knowledge of Swiss building standards is essential.
